Man charged with shooting murder

A joint investigation between the NSW Crime Commission, NSW Police Force Homicide Squad and NSW Police Force North-West Metropolitan Region has led to the arrest of a man suspected of the 2020 shooting murder of Mr Adnan Salameh.

On Monday 30 November 2020, NSW Police were called to a home in Tregear following reports of a home invasion. Mr Salameh was found suffering gunshot wounds at the scene and later died from his injuries. The NSW Crime Commission provided specialist technical and analytical assistance to the investigation.

After extensive investigations, a man was arrested on Wednesday 31 August 2022. He was charged with murder, special aggravated break and enter commit serious indictable offence and supply prohibited drug.

The investigation remains ongoing.
