Operation Prospect

On 20 December 2016 the Acting Ombudsman released a Report following an investigation known as Operation Prospect. This Report made a number of findings and recommendations about the NSW Crime Commission.

The NSWCC has given careful and detailed attention to the Report and has prepared a response which aims, in the public interest, to address the fundamental errors in fact and law contained in the Ombudsman's Report. In accordance with proper procedures, the Commission's response document has been provided to the relevant Minister and government authorities.
