Strike Force Eulo Media Release

Organised Crime Squad detectives with the assistance of the NSW Crime Commission, have seized 1kg of opium valued at $45,000 as part of ongoing Strike Force Eulo investigations into the large-scale supply of prohibited drugs across Sydney.

A man was arrested on Wednesday 16 June during a vehicle stop at Menangle and a subsequent search of his vehicle located the opium. Shortly after, detectives executed a search warrant at a North Parramatta unit seizing cannabis and prescription medication.

The man was charged with supply prohibited drug (commercial quantity) and two counts of possess prohibited drug.
